Welcome! I am so glad you are here. My name is Kaylee, the photographer behind Day Made! I am a born and raised Minnesotan who got her start in photography with a barbie polaroid camera, capturing breathtaking poses of my American Girl Dolls. As a kid, my sisters and neighborhood friends dreamed of starting a band where I would be the band photographer. You could say I’ve been preparing for photography for a while!
Fun Fact: I met Taylor Swift before she was super famous and got her autograph!
Besides photography, I am a wife and Mama to two sweet kiddos and I get to stay home and raise my babies while chasing down this photography dream of mine! I enjoy growing cut flowers, home design shows, and baking sourdough bread. I am also way too into true crime podcasts/shows and have been known to indulge in a good binge of Grey’s Anatomy. Before photography I was a Family and Consumer Sciences teacher and spent my days teaching high school and middle school students how to cook and sew! I took a break from teaching during the pandemic after a stressful few years (IVF, pregnancy, completing my Masters degree, house projects, life) to raise my kids and start this business with my sister!
